Job Description

Google Threat Intelligence (GTI) is on a mission to make the internet a safer place by empowering security researchers, analysts, and organizations worldwide. As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our platform, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions. You will contribute to the design and implementation of systems to process, analyze, and store massive amounts of threat intelligence data. You will work closely with security experts to understand their needs and translate them into actionable features. You will also identify opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5 years of experience building and managing threat intelligence teams
Experience analyzing the security of systems
Experience with technical and cyber security

Good to have:

Experience with detection, incident response, threat intelligence, and systems and network hardening
Ability to work analytically to process multidimensional information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience building and managing threat intelligence teams in companies or government agencies.
Experience analyzing the security of systems (e.g., security testing, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, etc.).
Experience with technical and cyber security.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with detection, incident response, threat intelligence, and systems and network hardening.
Ability to work analytically to process multidimensional information and solve for connections.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
