Job Description

Google is looking for a Software Engineer II, Full Stack, Google Cloud to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, or Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role requires 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Javascript) and 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms. The ideal candidate will have experience developing accessible technologies and 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, etc. Responsibilities include writing product or system development code, participating in design reviews with peers and stakeholders, reviewing code developed by other developers, contributing to existing documentation, and debugging product or system issues.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms
  • Full stack development experience
  • Experience with back-end technologies like Java, Python, GO, or C++
  • Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS
Good to have:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Experience developing accessible technologies

Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
