Job Description

Google seeks a Software Engineer III (Full Stack) for its Corp Eng team in Hyderabad. Responsibilities include participating in design reviews, code review, documentation updates, issue triage and resolution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-stack development, API design, and systems engineering. The role involves managing project priorities and delivering user-focused value to Global Affairs. Experience with data structures and algorithms, and familiarity with accessible technologies are valued.

Must have:

Full-stack development experience
API design expertise
Data structures and algorithms knowledge
System engineering experience
Code review and documentation
Issue triage and resolution

Good to have:

Master's degree in CS
Experience with accessible technologies
Cross-functional project experience
Third-party system integration
Legal domain experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Experience with full-stack development, API design, and systems engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
4 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
4 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Experience developing accessible technologies and with cross-functional, cross-team, or cross-geography projects.
Experience integrating third-party systems and driving cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
Experience in the Legal domain and technologies.

Responsibilities

Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Work with cross-functional partners to scope, plan, and execute development programs that consistently deliver user focused value to Global Affairs.
