Job Description

As a Software Engineering Manager III, BigQuery Core Analytics, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers, define project roadmaps, manage project execution, and ensure high availability and scalability. You will also architect and implement automation solutions, optimize system performance, and implement security best practices. This role requires a strong understanding of data analytics, AI/ML, and BigQuery, along with experience in technical leadership and people management.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience with software development
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role
5 years of experience in a people management role
Experience with Data Analytics and Generative Artificial Learning/Machine Learning (AI/ML)

Good to have:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
5 years of experience working in a matrixed organization
Experience with databases, data warehousing, information retrieval, or SQL
Knowledge of Python, Big Query

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Experience with Data Analytics and Generative Artificial Learning/Machine Learning (AI/ML).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
5 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
Experience with databases, data warehousing, information retrieval, or SQL.
Knowledge of Python, Big Query.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$337,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Guide and mentor a team of engineers, recruit and onboard new talent, promote a collaborative work environment.
