As a Solution Consultant at Sitecore, you will provide platform and technical strategic support throughout the sales cycle, working with the sales team and engaging with prospects, existing clients, and implementation partners in the Japan region. Your role involves being a trusted expert advisor, presenting value and technical knowledge when demonstrating the Sitecore Platform. You will also act as a product evangelist, educating the sales team and implementation partners on product features and platform roadmaps, and presenting at Sitecore and industry events.
Must have:
  • 3+ years experience in a similar Solution Consultant/Sales Engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JSON, GraphQL.
  • Comfortable with presentations to C-level executives.
  • Ability to combine technical requirements with business needs.

About the Role/ The Opportunity:  
As a Solution Consultant at Sitecore, your primary role is to deliver platform and technical strategic support throughout the sales cycle. You will work as part of the sales team and engage with prospects, existing clients, and implementation partners across the JAPAN region.
 
You will be part of a highly professional sales team, reporting to the Regional Sales Engineering manager. Your role is to be the trusted expert advisor when visiting customers, prospects and partners, and your main target is to present value and technical knowledge when demonstrating the Sitecore Platform.
 
In addition, the Solution Consultant will act as a product evangelist, education the sales team and implementation partners on product features and platform roadmaps, and present when required at Sitecore and industry events.
 
What You’ll Do: 
  • Manage all technical aspects of a Sitecore sale in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Help existing customers to stay up to date on new product features and product roadmap.
  • Own the technical relationship in sales situations, to ensure that all technical aspects of sales are covered.
  • Enable partners and ensure they are up to date on the latest platform features.
  • Define and deliver bespoke demonstration scenarios of the Sitecore platform.
  • Scope and develop POC solutions on the Sitecore platform where required.
  • Respond to proposals and RFP’s to ensure that all technical information and recommendations address the client’s requirements.
  • Present solution benefits / features / updates and roadmaps at Sitecore’s marketing events.
  
What You Need to Succeed:  
  • Typically required 3 years or more experience in a similar Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer role; or have experience with implementing Jamstack or Headless solutions as a technical project manager or lead developer.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies including Jamstack, Headless technologies, HTML, CSS, JSON, GraphQL.
  • Comfortable with a consultative presentation to C-level business executives as well as detailed, in-depth discussions with a technical audience.
  • Able to combine technical requirement with business needs and drive value proposition discussion.
  • Experience with one or more Web Content Management Systems, E-commerce or CDP solutions.
  • Knowledge of allied software systems, e.g. CRM, PIM, DAM, ESP, CMP, CDP.
