They are seeking an experienced Solution Engineer (Presales) specializing in AI, data and analytics solutions to join their dynamic team in the Bay Area. We are seeking an experienced Solution Engineer (Presales) specializing in AI, data and analytics solutions to join our dynamic team in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge technology and our clients’ business needs, driving revenue growth through effective solution positioning and demonstrations.


Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies for Aera decision cloud
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
  • Analyze client requirements and design tailored solutions that address their specific challenges
  • Provide technical expertise during the sales process, from initial engagement to deal closure
  • Lead Proof of concept/Proof of value exercises and RFx responses
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape in the AI, data and analytics space


About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the software industry, with at least 2 years in a presales role
  • Proven track record of successful engagements with enterprise clients in the AI, data and analytics space
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of data and analytics technologies, including big data platforms, planning applications,  business intelligence tools, and enterprise AI platforms. 
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate technical features into tangible business value across industry and enterprise functions.
  • Sales Process Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and value engineering
  • Curiosity: Genuine interest in understanding the technology and exploring the product in detail 
  • Creative Thinking: Aptitude for developing unique approaches to complex problems
  • Positive Energy/Enthusiasm: Ability to inspire and motivate both internal teams and potential clients
  • Strong Communication/Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate concepts and give concrete examples to diverse audiences
  • Active Listening: Proficiency in techniques such as mirroring, labeling, and asking calibrated questions to uncover client needs and expectations.


$200,000 - $210,000 a year
Compensation range for this position is a maximum salary of $210,000 cash + meaningful equity. Actual compensation offered will vary based on a number of factors including prior experience and location.

The appropriate candidate will currently be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA, and have a willingness to travel within the United States as needed for client meetings.
