Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer who specializes in upgrading Drupal platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Drupal 7 and extensive experience migrating to Drupal 10. The role involves working on challenging and innovative projects to ensure seamless transitions and optimal performance of upgraded platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage the complete migration process from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10.
- Analyze and evaluate existing Drupal 7 architecture, modules, and configurations for compatibility with Drupal 10.
- Customize, configure, and develop Drupal modules as required during the upgrade process.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring smooth functionality post-upgrade.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the migration process.
- Maintain best practices for coding, security, and scalability in the upgraded environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Drupal development, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience in upgrading from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and web technologies.
- Experience with custom module development and theming in Drupal.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Understanding of Drupal architecture, APIs, and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large-scale Drupal migrations.
- Knowledge of Composer and Drush for Drupal management.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization in Drupal environments.
- Acquainted with agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
