The opportunity
Do you want to help build the next evolution of Adobe Express?
Adobe Express is an all-in-one creative tool that makes design and content
creation fast, fun, and streamlined for everyone, and enables anyone to
stand out. The Adobe Express team is looking for a top-tier Design Manager
that can help drive the mobile focused design process in India and empower
creators on mobile.
You will work with the team to set standards, develop design frameworks,
provide design feedback, and build seamless content creation experiences
on mobile.
What you will do
Lead the vision and strategy for designing for mobile devices; you are
capable of crafting seamless experiences and interaction patterns, and
defining the approaches and standards that guide others.
Partner with Product, Research, Engineering, and Marketing to define
the key objectives and identify the most impactful experiences to
build.
Guide and review designs for clarity, consistency, and quality; be
responsible for ensuring we empower our users to create content on
mobile with simplicity and ease.
Lead, mentor, and strengthen a team of designers to craft innovative
and compelling experiences that meet business objectives.
What you need to succeed
8+ years in the product design industry with experience in launching
products that delight, innovate, and scale by turning complex problems
into simple engaging customer experiences.
4+ years of people management and leadership experience with a
track record of success in hiring, training, and developing designers
ranging from junior talent to highly experienced individual
contributors. Champion an environment of creativity, ingenuity, user obsession, and
forward-thinking to build valuable solutions for users.
Build a collaborative environment the encourages partnership with
cross functional teams and sets a high bar for design quality.
Represent the team as you influence design and cross-functional
leaders.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross product horizontal teams
and focused vertical teams across multiple geos and stakeholders.
Experience with and knowledge of mobile design patterns and best
practices.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
