Responsibilities:

As a Staff Technical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our streaming platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supervising the tasks and deliverables of individual teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Solving problems within fast-paced and constantly evolving environments, bringing order to ambiguous scenarios.
  • Collaborating with internal cross-functional tech teams and external partner teams to develop and launch innovative products.
  • Developing and owning communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate project status, challenges, and risks to partners.
  • Successfully implementing projects by applying formal project management techniques.
  • Taking responsibility for individual sub-components of larger projects.
  • Working closely with key partners to gather requirements, identify risks, lead schedules, and communicate status across the organization.
  • Collaborating with engineers, creatives, and management to facilitate effective communication, coordinate tasks, and track progress in project development.
  • Handling project risks, developing mitigation plans, and raising decisions and unresolved issues.
  • Ensuring thorough testing, compliance, and efficient implementation of work.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience as a Project Manager.
  • Proven experience with modern software development methodologies, especially SCRUM/Agile.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of tracking and reporting on projects, resolving delays, and managing project dependency issues.
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively work with diverse teams across different timezones.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize effectively, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can efficiently balance and respond to problems with the appropriate level of urgency.
  • Independent problem-solving skills and ability to detail resolutions accurately.
  • Effective prioritization and clear roadmap communication abilities required across various business functions and geographies.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical individuals, including external partners.

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

In addition to the requirements, the following skills and knowledge are desirable:

  • Experience in leading infrastructure, platform, or enablement programs for internal customers.
  • Gaming and start-up experience is a plus.
  • Programming or engineering education or background is a plus.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$157,200 — $235,800 USD
