As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, you'll drive Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) business for small/medium businesses (SMBs) in LATAM. You'll collaborate with the SMB partner lead, direct sales teams, and the partner ecosystem to develop Google Cloud business through sales and marketing campaigns, training, and enablement. You'll be the primary contact for top SMB partners, identifying growth drivers and creating solutions to increase sales. Responsibilities include working with core promoters and channel partners, developing a territory plan, partnering with internal teams, developing pipelines, managing sales cycles, building relationships, and influencing long-term direction. Success requires collaboration, creativity, and the ability to drive business at scale through the partner ecosystem.
Must have:
  • 7+ years sales/partner experience in software/cloud
  • SMB cloud partner ecosystem experience
  • Fluent English communication
  • Drive partner growth and achieve sales goals
  • Develop and execute growth initiatives
Good to have:
  • Leadership skills, creativity, collaboration
  • Problem-solving, data analysis, actionable planning
  • Experience with sales reporting tools and cloud products
  • Excellent organizational, project management skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a sales or partner role in the software or cloud space.
  • Experience with the cloud partner ecosystem (e.g. System Integrators, Service Providers, or Independent Software Vendors) serving SMBs at scale.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English to interact with global stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving partner growth and contributing to team culture through leadership skills, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Experience in problem solving, running experiments, drawing conclusions, and building actionable plans based on data.
  • Experience developing growth initiatives, achieving partner sales goals, and using sales reporting tools.
  • Experience with Cloud products.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and executional capabilities, with problem solving, attention to detail, and entrepreneurial skill sets.

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, your role is to drive Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) business for small/medium businesses by working collaboratively with our LATAM SMB partner lead, direct sales teams and our extensive partner ecosystem. Partners are critical to the growth, adoption, and scale of Google Cloud products. You will work with Small/Medium Businesses (SMB)-focused partners to develop their Google Cloud business via sales and marketing campaigns, training, and enablement. You will be the point of contact for our top SMB partners in developing a understanding of partner growth drivers and identifying creative solutions to increase sales across several different categories of Google Cloud partners. You are collaborative, creative, and able to drive business at scale through our partner ecosystem. You have experience promoting Cloud solutions or working with SaaS partners, and understanding how to measure and grow SMB business. You have the ability to manage a diverse ecosystem of partners, both directly and at scale, and can partner with our direct sales team to build and execute growth initiatives. Your drive, focus, leadership and collaborative nature will be a positive contributor to our overall team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Work with core promoters and channel partners to reach as many SMB accounts with our Google Cloud solutions.
  • Own the enablement, alignment, and introductions for our core promoters and drive prioritization of our Google Cloud portfolio across all promoters and corresponding channel partners.
  • Construct and execute a territory development plan. 
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Customer Success, Channels, Product, and Engineering teams to understand the needs of the customer and provide excellent customer experience.
  • Develop and drive pipelines, to manage cycles leading from generation to customer onboarding. Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term direction.
