We are currently looking for a Tax Automation Specialist to join our Tax and Legal Line of Service.

Within this line of service we specialize in assisting businesses and individuals navigate complex tax and legal landscapes efficiently and effectively. As part of our commitment to leveraging technology to streamline processes, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Tax Automation Specialist to join our team.

As the Tax Automation Specialist you will assist in the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of tax technology solutions. You will work closely with senior team members to support various tax automation initiatives and contribute to the optimisation of processes.

Your Mission

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing tax processes and identify opportunities for automation

• Work closely with Tax and Legal professionals to understand requirements and ensure that automation solutions align with regulatory and compliance standards

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions tailored to tax workflows, utilizing a variety of tools and technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), workflow automation, and data analytics

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy

• Assist in documenting tax processes, procedures and system configurations

• Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate adoption of automated processes

• Monitor the performance of automation solutions and identify areas for optimization and improvement

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in tax automation to continuously enhance our capabilities and offerings

About You

The successful candidate will possess: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, Information Systems and Business Computing, or a related field

• Basic understanding of tax principles and concepts

• Strong interest in tax technology and willingness to learn

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#

• Familiarity with software application and technology platforms such as Alteryx, UiPath, Power Bi and PowerApps

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment

• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
