Air Operations Execution includes roles that manage and operate aircraft fleets and air cargo transport.
Management stream includes those who primarily lead people for whom they have employee lifecycle responsibilities including hire/fire decisions, coaching/mentoring, coordination of tasks, appraising performance, pay reviews, and developing for future assignments.
The management responsibilities are in addition to job specific accountabilities for objectives such as setting direction and developing business & operational areas, developing policies & practices, and implementing business plans. The planning horizon can vary from short to long term dependent on the career stage and goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and/or indirect reports.
Progression within this stream reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.
A colleague at this level works independently within defined boundaries and guidelines in a specific area but will need supervision and support on more complex tasks. Knowledge is required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures and processes.
Solutioning is through a choice between known alternatives, within the area of expertise and the leader will evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of the solution.
The job requires previous work experience in a related area, or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.
Leaders at this level manage employees day-to-day and set priorities to ensure task completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively engage with origin offices to resolve necessary issues.
Monitor team’s performance on timeliness, accuracy and productivity and make sure Global KPIs are met.
Closely monitor daily production status of the team to ensure smooth production.
Plan leave and shift schedule for the team. Assist in providing support for absenteeism.
Review and approve/reject overtime work for team members when needed.
Responsible to coordinate on department’s administrative tasks, including working hour file maintenance, Weekly report Statistics etc.
Attend weekly managers meeting upon request.
Work closely with management to meet Critical Success Factors.
Contribute to and participate in annual appraisals.
Gather data and generate weekly in house reports to measure performance against critical success factors.
Record individual team member’s weekly statistics and present to individuals in order to enhance their performance.
Ensure team members follow company policies and guidance as per staff handbook.
Perform other job related duties as required and assigned.
Constantly review standard working procedures within your areas and update timely whenever necessary.
Advise team members of new IOPs and make sure they are being followed.
Ensure internal processes are being continuously analysed to identify possibilities for improvement and ensure full implementation.
Continuously review business processes, identify and propose changes that will improve quality, timeliness and productivity.
Keep Department Head informed on all critical issues related to performance in general as well as specific ones.

Who are we looking for:
With at least 3-5 years leadership/team management, performance and change management experience.
Must have relevant experience in either Shipping, Logistics, Forwarding, Supply Chain operations, Air Products, Airfreight industry or in BPO set up, plus knowledge and experience in Financial Operations for Import Transactions/Processes. Good to have export transactions background.
Knowledgeable in RCA, knows how to understand numbers – story telling, KPI (Performance Discussion), workforce management – capacity planning/headcount planning.
Strong experience in stakeholder management and presentations.
Average verbal and written English skills for co-ordination with Shippers, Warehouse, Carriers and end to end customers.
MS Office Proficient.
Good to have experience in Projects and Process Improvement.
Bachelor's Degree graduate.
Flexible to work in dayshift schedule (APA timezone) and Hybrid set up.
Amenable to work in Pasig City.
