The Technical Artist will maintain organized digital files for submission to licensors, act as an I/O coordinator for file transfer, create Asset Bundles for iOS, Android, and VR platforms, manage the submission process, support marketing with stills and videos, and assist with VFX, animation, or scripting as needed. This is a 6-12 month contract role (with potential extension) based remotely in New Zealand or the US Pacific time zone. Responsibilities include efficient file packaging, asset bundle creation across multiple platforms, managing the submission process to licensors, creating marketing materials, and assisting with VFX, animation, or scripting tasks.

VeVe is the largest mobile-first digital collectibles platform out there, with more than 108 million digital collectibles and comics sold to date. About the Role

We are on the lookout for a Technical Artist to join our Production team as a full-time Contractor for 6-12 months (with probable extension). Primarily you will maintain organised digital files and prepare them efficiently for submission to licensors. You’ll be hands-on with Unity, creating Asset Bundles for multiple platforms including iOS, Android, and VR. You’ll also support our marketing team by producing stills and videos, and contribute to VFX, animation, or scripting tasks as needed. This is a remote role, based in New Zealand or the US Pacific (PST) time zone.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining organised files and efficiently package them for submission to licensors.
  • Acting as an I/O (input/output) Coordinator, facilitating the sending and downloading of files.
  • Handling the creation of Asset Bundles for different platforms such as iOS, Android, and VR.
  • Managing the submission process, including sending final files to licensors and handling submission renders.
  • Providing support for marketing activities, including the creation of stills and videos.
  • Assisting with tasks related to VFX, Animation, or Scripting as needed.


Your skills and expertise:

  • 2+ years experience working with Unity.
  • Experience in VFX/Animation/Scripting development in Unity.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn about NFTs and 3D development.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to self-start.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate within the team and with external partners.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work within project schedules.
  • Prior experience in the digital collectables, gaming, or entertainment industry is a plus.
