Overview

Understands customer dynamics and needs. Plans and coordinates all aspects of engineering projects from inception to implementation. Has the capability to deliver actionable activities to the business on time and within budget. 
 

This position is a hybrid position located in West Greenwich, RI. Candidates must live in a commutable distance.

Responsibilities

  • Assigned to multiple projects
  • Documents descriptions of assigned engineering projects 
  • Maintains technical specifications
  • Coordinates the activities of multi-disciplinary teams in the achievement of project objectives and outcomes
  • Facilitates the flow of information among team members on assigned projects
  • Participates in removing project barriers and roadblocks
  • Develops, tracks and reports on project progress, schedules and project metrics
  • Completes the full scope of large, complex assignments / projects that involve multiple technology systems by the end of the year 
  • Completes a variety of sophisticated tasks in creative, highly resourceful and effective ways by close of the year 

Qualifications

  • 8 to 12 years managing engineering projects
  • 2 to 4 years of project or team lead experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Effective communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management applications
  • Professional project manager with experience running HW and SW projects from conception to production ready
  • Experience managing engineering projects with increasing complexity
  • Project leadership on multifaceted projects
  • Has advanced knowledge of / skills in the content areas of engineering disciplines such as software, hardware, firmware, or project management techniques and methods
  • PMP Certification
  • Scrum Master Certification (PSM or CSM)
  • Previous experience in a similar gaming industry setting
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 Quality Process

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961 - $164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
