Responsibilities:
- Setting up and managing the BIM project environment
- Assembling and maintaining the multidiscipline models along with performing clash detection.
- Consult for the input to the BEP enforcing BIM standards and protocols.
- Responsible for integration and the geo-location of the models per segment and aggregate them in addition to checking these drawings produced.
- Perform risk identification and escalation within BIM perimeter.
- Responsible for ensuring production of the appropriate Client data drops standards.
- Supports Interface coordinators and design coordinators.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of BIM deliverables
- Ensure that the BIM and CAD Standards are respected.
- General review of the design.
- Review focused on specific subsection (Interdisciplinary)
- establish QA/QC procedures to ensure the quality and accuracy of BIM deliverables
- stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry related to BIM
- providing training and support to project team members on BIM tools, processes, and standards
- Close Collaboration with BIM Manager and design offices
Qualification:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE /B-Tech) or Equivalent
- Experience as a BIM coordinator in at least one Infrastructure object (roads or railway) design over the last 8-10 years where infrastructure object was not less than 1 km length.
- Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar collaboration tools
- A strong understanding of BIM standards (such as ISO 19650) and workflows is crucial.
- Expertise in model coordination and clash detection is essential. Oversee clash detection processes, resolve conflicts, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in data management and integration is necessary for handling large volumes of data associated with BIM projects. capable of managing project data effectively, including model elements, specifications, schedules, and other relevant information
- Fluency in English is Required, Other language skills especially German, are beneficial.
