The Digital BU is seeking an experienced IC layout designer to work on development of highly integrated IC’s.
As an IC layout designer, your focus will be on both block level and top level physical design and integration.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with analog/mixed-signal and digital design teams to ensure proper layout design
- Block level floor planning and layout
- IC top level floor planning and area estimation
- Using recommended layout and verification techniques, tools, and flows to produce optimal designs
- Generate post-layout extraction
- Create layout related documentation and conduct layout reviews
- Interact with packaging team to generate clean bonding diagram that complies with assembly rules
- Mentor junior layout designers
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years experience as physical layout designer
- Understanding of matched structures like current mirror, input pair, etc.
- Understanding of noise isolation techniques
- Ability to work within and effectively collaborate with cross-functional team
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FinFET layout and understanding of layout related reliability issues
- Scripting/programming skills
