Video Game Freelance Translator - Ukrainian

Currently, Testronic Localization Team is looking for an English into Ukrainian Language Expert who will:

• Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes together in cooperation with other Linguists) and following game updates.
• Occasionally translate marketing texts and materials related to video games.
• Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality.

• A Native speaker of Ukrainian.
• Fluent knowledge of English.
  
• Language enthusiast attitude, passion about linguistic and cultural nuances.
• Professional localization experience of more than 1 year (and at least some of translation experience in the video game industry is necessary).
• Translation/Localization education background will be an asset.
  
• Agreeableness to work on projects with translation grid applied (we provide fair % to cover the efforts).
• Readiness to provide MTPE (Machine Translation Post Editing) service if the project requires it.
• Ability to work in Phrase.
  
• Responsiveness to e-mails, respecting agreed deadliness, quality oriented approach.
• Freelance registration and ability to provide invoices.

• Friendly work environment.
• Flexible working hours, independent and project-based job (freelancing B2B contract).
• Opportunity to work remotely from any place (But please note that our LOC Team works in the CET time zone).
• We provide the necessary license for Phrase, along with the guidelines.
