About the job
Essential Responsibilities
Bonus/Commission: No
- Conducting research to understand company objectives, target markets, and industry trends to develop innovative and trending product designs.
- Conceptualizing and designing marketable, trend-right artwork for balloon images, gift and home décor products.
- Making modifications to existing artwork as suggested through peer and management critique; creating mechanicals.
- Potential for domestic and international travel.
- Must be well-versed with working with a variety of mediums: gouache, watercolor, acrylic, digital, etc.; calligraphy and hand lettering ability.
- Possess broad knowledge and understanding of graphic/fine art standards; ability to create innovative, forward-thinking designs to attract customers.
- Highly developed skills in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on a MAC platform; proficiency with digital design software.
- Has a strong sense and understanding of color theory, design principles, and typography.
- Can produce precise, accurate and vendor-ready art boards in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English; proficient with desktop/laptop/tablet computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
