Sr Graphic Designer

We’re looking to hire a Sr. Graphic Designer for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutivcal client.  Team culture is based on open communication, accountability, and collaboration.

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Design team to develop user-centric and accessible digital and print materials in accordance with FDA regulations, working closely with creative managers, writers, and designers.

This is a 6 – month contract + extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Mettawa, IL, and the role is on-site 3 days/week. a free shuttle to and from Metra Metropolitan Rail + convenient access to I94. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.


Sr Graphic Designer Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with project managers to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, actively participating in meetings.
• Update and refine existing digital and print projects initiated by other designers or partner agencies.
• Optimize artwork and layouts for consistent use across both digital and print platforms.
• Visualize clinical trial data and create informative infographics using Illustrator and InDesign.
• Design email campaign layouts using Knak Email Builder and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Builder.
• Develop interactive sales aids in InDesign for the Veeva CRM platform.
• Wireframe and prototype web banner ads, social media ads, and websites using Adobe XD or Figma.
• Create digital mockups in Photoshop, including color correction, retouching, and image optimization for both digital and print applications.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and apply UI/UX design principles.
• Source appropriate stock photos and video footage.
• Present design concepts and clearly articulate design decisions to large teams.

Sr Graphic Designer Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in design, advertising, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience developing professional digital and print materials.
• Expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and either XD or Figma. Demonstrated understanding of current graphic design trends and digital/print technologies.
• Strong initiative to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment. Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback and quickly adapt to changing project requirements.
• Submission of a portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Knak, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Adobe Experience Manager.
• Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated environments.
• Availability to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
