Summary

The Analyst, Technology Contracts plays a critical role in supporting Warner Bros. Discovery's hardware and software platforms. Key responsibilities include managing the global hardware and software maintenance renewal program, ensuring timely completion of renewals, negotiating pricing with suppliers, and accurately capturing information in the Procurement system. The role also involves managing 3rd party contractor contracts, tracking expiration dates, and coordinating extensions with resource managers and the sourcing group. This position requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. A successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in IT contracts and general Procure 2 Pay process knowledge.

This position provides a critical function to ensure the supportability of the company’s hardware and software platforms and the continued contract and financial well-being of the company’s assets. This includes ownership for the hardware and software maintenance support renewal program globally. This position also is responsible for managing expirations associated to the department’s 3rd party contractor requirements. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hardware and Software Maintenance Contract Renewal (80%) Support and enable the renewal process for WarnerMedia globally Assist with all active renewals to ensure timely completion of renewals Monitor new purchases to ensure consistency and completeness of renewals Coordinate renewals with technical, business and management contacts to ensure necessity and level of renewal Coordinate quoting pricing to include supplier negotiation Ensure all requisition information or renewal is accurately and expeditiously captured within the Procurement system Ensure prompt communication on all purchases and effectively escalate issues with suppliers when applicable Update and maintain renewals tracker with all correct and most updated information 3rd Party Contract Management (30%) Maintain listing of 3rd Party Contractors and Expiration dates Work with resource managers to confirm whether extensions are required Coordinate extension paperwork with sourcing group MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 3+ years experience with IT contracts General Procure 2 Pay process knowledge DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS 1 - 3 years experience with supplier management 1 - 3 years experience with IT Customer management experience Solid oral, written, presentation, interpersonal and meeting coordination skills EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
