As an Art Director at Yellow Shoes, you'll craft innovative concepts for Disney Parks and Resorts, mentor junior creatives, and solve problems creatively across various advertising mediums (social, digital, traditional). Proficiency in design software, presentation skills, and a deep understanding of the Disney brand are crucial. This role demands strong design skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning and adapting to evolving social media platforms.

As an Art Director, you’ll have other responsibilities too. Like crafting innovative and conceptual ideas for Disney Parks and Resorts alongside talented team members, as well as mentoring Jr. creatives. You will have the opportunity to show your problem-solving skills and creative thinking for a range of advertising mediums. Social and digital by design, we expect EVERY YS creative team member to fully grasp the importance of thinking creatively in a tech-inspired world. Proven, imaginative design ability, expert understanding of the production process and engaging presentation skills are expected. To be successful as part of our team, an open mind and a passion to learn will take you very far. Your day-to-day will include coming up with innovative conceptual ideas, supporting the businesses, your leads and successfully answering briefs that range from social, digital and traditional work. You will have the opportunity to work with senior creative leaders and be a part of meetings where you will bring your thinking and present it to not just other creatives but to the outside partners. The role will ask you to learn the process here at Disney and developing your skill whether its type, design or art direction.

You will report to the Dir-Creative. 


What You Will Do
•    Ability to interpret creative briefs and act upon client feedback.
•    Creating content for all digital and social channels associated with the Disney Parks and Resorts group.
•    Must possess exceptional design skills
•    Must be proficient in presentation software and have working knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides.
•    Flash and other editing software is a plus, but not mandatory.
•    Ability to learn Live Canvas and stay proficient on the changing functionality offered on social platforms
•    Strong eye for design, typography and photography with a type A-level attention to detail.
•    Knowledge and genuine interest in the Walt Disney Company history–including films, animation, television and theme parks. 


Education 
•    Bachelors Degree in Ad School or Liberal Arts preferred or minimum of at least an Associates degree in Advertising, Art, Graphic Art or Design.
