Your Role:

Associate Creative Director (Corporate Video and Brand) 

The Associate Creative Director works with the Creative Director of Marketing AV to develop and implement innovative and creative video campaigns that span across multiple platforms, with a focus on Brand and Corporate Communications, in addition to Original Programming. Direct responsibilities include concept development, project oversight, and tactical executions. Helps manage and mentor a team of producers who create assets internally in addition to overseeing the work of external vendors. Acts as a project lead and liaises with corporate partners, internal editorial teams, executives, creative agencies, programming executives, and show executives. Responsible for the management of multiple budgets.  

Your Role Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership, project oversight and some creative direction on requests from Corporate relations partners such as DEI, CSR, Comms and B2B.   

  • Provide leadership, project oversight and some creative direction on Brand AV requests, such as multi-title OP and Theatrical AV pieces or single title library pieces. 

  • Provide leadership, project oversight and some creative direction on Original Programming Marketing AV campaigns.  

  • Play a leading role in creative conceptualizing, development and execution of AV for Corp Comms, Brand and OP assignments.  

  • Partner closely with internal partners to receive requests, keep projects on task and within budget, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the process.  

  • Collaborate closely with marketing and cross-functional peers to ensure projects meet goals and achieve desired results. 

  • Participate in the management of in-house team producing and editing content, helping to elevate the creative work 

  • Provide mentorship to all levels on the team to develop both hard and soft skills 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver, with an ability to influence, ideate and execute groundbreaking ideas and build strong teams focused on creative innovation and marketing objectives. 

  • Ability to work hands-on with editors to elevate creative work to the highest level 

  • Expert knowledge of production management, post-production, video editing, writing and producing.  

  • Exceptional knowledge on the Post-Production process. 

  • Adept at presentation and concept pitches. 

  • Expert knowledge of creative marketing concepts, development and production with proven ability to manage creative projects from conception through implementation. 

  • Good judgment and ability to make sound decisions quickly under tight deadlines, with the ability to create new and innovative solutions when needed. 

  • Solid managerial/leadership competencies and experience. Exhibits the ability to inspire and nurture individual talent within a collaborative environment with an emphasis on fostering an inclusive and supportive culture 

  • Superior production crew management. 

  • Strong approvals management skill with the ability to efficiently navigate a complex hierarchy 

  • Ability to multi-task and delegate work while remaining accountable in a high-demand and ambitious work environment. 

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, and relationship development skills. Ability to collaborate in a close team atmosphere, and with executives, filmmakers and talent. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to deliver clear and concise direction and communicate effectively and tactfully with people at all levels. 

  • Prior experience working on Brand is not required but candidates with relevant experience will be given additional consideration.  

  • Prior experience launching campaigns with premium content, including films, original scripted series, and documentaries is a plus.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $133,000.00 - $247,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
