Join our dynamic and innovative gaming company! As a Bookkeeper, you will be joining our growing finance team. Your responsibilities include performing bank reconciliations, tracking expenses, preparing monthly profit and loss reports, and using accounting software like QuickBooks. You'll also conduct account analysis, handle account reconciliation, assist with budgeting, manage accounts receivable, and prepare and submit government remittances. Maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and handling bill payments are also key tasks. Additionally, you will store, update, and retrieve financial data and perform clerical duties. This role requires a full-time commitment to the in-office position.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with Canada and USA accounting
  • Commitment to full-time work and adapting to non-traditional hours

We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team! 


Main Responsibilities:
                                           
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Track expenses
- Prepare profit and loss monthly reports
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Handle account reconciliation to maintain financial integrity
- Assist in budgeting processes to support financial planning
- Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments
- Prepare and submit all government remittances (Payroll, WSIB, EHT, HST, CRA Remittance, IFTA)
- Prepare T4 statements, ROEs and other statements
- Handle other bill payments
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries and prepare trial balance for books
- Store, update and retrieve financial data
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems


Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

· Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel

· Experience with Canada and USA accounting

· Focus on achieving results, adapting to non-traditional working hours, and committing full-time.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy


This is a full-time IN OFFICE position in our Vaughan office.
