As a build engineer you support our various projects by automating builds and miscellaneous tasks.  You make sure we have shared standards and setups across the studio and that we make the best use of our resources.

Your Mission

    • Author and maintain Jenkins jobs
    • Automate various aspects of game development (i.e. generation of lightmaps and LODs) using Python, the Unreal Build Tool and the Unreal Automation System (C# and C++)
    • Implement and integrate automated reporting tools
    • Take an active interest in game quality, ensuring content is at the highest quality for each platform
    • Communicate build status, estimated deliveries and potential downtimes to production and the teams
    • Monitor build machines and resource usage

Your Skillset

    • Experience with continuous integration systems (like Jenkins or TeamCity)
    • Experience with version control systems
    • Knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, C++, C#
    • Good problem analysis skills and ability to find simple, robust and efficient solutions to complex problems
    • Proven strong organizational skills and task management skills
    • Good knowledge of the English language

    • Bonus Skills
    • Experience with console builds and console automation
    • Experience with Perforce
    • Experience with Unreal Engine
