Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related analytical field.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US  

At SimCorp, we facilitate the streamlining of investment decisions, accounting, and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, and deliver the outcomes they will adopt, business consultants are essential to us.   

We are seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Business Partner to join our Strategic Performance & Insights team. This role is vital in shaping strategic decision-making through robust forecasting, profitability modeling, and data-driven insights. You will play a key role in helping senior leaders gain clarity and foresight into their business areas, initiating meaningful conversations around financial and operational performance.

Effective performance in this role means affecting strategic priorities, ensuring data accuracy and accountability, and making complex information actionable. You will partner cross-functionally and work closely with commercial, finance, and operations leadership.  

   

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Owning and developing strategic forecasting and profitability models that support business planning and performance tracking.
  • Delivering engaged and commercially focused insights through advanced data analytics.
  • Supporting and evolving frameworks that promote accuracy, accountability, and transparency in performance reporting.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders by translating complex data into clear, impactful business narratives.
  • Collaborating closely with other performance partners to drive cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, in finance, business performance, or a technology-enabled environment
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English Language) with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Advanced technical expertise in tools such as Power BI, SQL, VBA, macros, Excel, and financial modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives from concept to execution
  • Comfortable communicating complex ideas in a clear and engaging way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A deeply curious and analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Collaborative and open to new ideas, with a willingness to grow and support others in a challenging, evolving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related analytical or technical field is required
