Whether you’re looking for a high-end concept art piece, 800 in-engine weapons tailored to your game, or ground-up support from ideation development and art direction to full environment design and construction, Keywords is the answer.

To support the ongoing growth of our Art Services studios, we are currently looking to add the new position of Business Development Manager - Video Game Art Services to our Create division leadership team. In this role you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and revenue within the Create Division. This role focuses on identifying and securing new clients in both the video game sector and adjacent markets. To succeed in this role you will be proactive and results-driven, with the ability to develop strategies for new business types, and collaborate with the service line leadership and business development team to devise approaches and models that complement our core business. We’re looking for energetic individuals who are excited to make their mark on an exciting new chapter for the Art service line.

This position is offered on a fully remote basis, however, the successful candidate must be able to operate on a North American time zone for the majority of the time.

Some of the cool stuff you'll be doing:

  • New Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new client opportunities within the video game art services sector and adjacent markets.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and projects.
    • Secure new business deals to meet clear revenue targets.
  • Client Management:
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing and repeat business.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop strategies to pursue new types of business and market opportunities.
    • Work with the service line to devise new business approaches and models that complement our core business.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential new business opportunities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to the Service Line Director for strategic planning.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor and report on sales performance against targets.
    • Adjust strategies and tactics as necessary to achieve goals.

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in sales, particularly within the video game or related creative industries.
    • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
    • Bonus points if you have experience building collateral like proposals and solutions documents.
  • Skills:
    • Driven and open to creative approaches to business development.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge:
    • Understanding of entertainment art production processes and services.
    • Familiarity with the competitive landscape and market trends in the video game and adjacent industries.
