Your New Role… 
For 12 months Maternity Cover contract, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Toys, Games and Promotional product development across EMEA. Translating Warner Bros. Discovery characters/qualities into Toys, Games and promotions. A large sector of the role 70% will be working directly with the Creative Director and other Warner Bros. stakeholders managing the LEGO Global account creatively to inspire LEGO and work collaboratively on their product development.
Your Role Accountabilities… 

Trend and Design

  • Understand vision and trends related to Toys, Games and promotional products across all segments
  • Design balanced graphic elements (using color, icon size and space relationships) needed to develop product for all age segments
  • Translate Warner Bros. Discovery storytelling into design and product application
  • Toy packaging knowledge
  • Conduct trend research regarding influences, illustration, graphics and products
  • Understand the marketplace, and business climate
  • Understand elements of product design and manufacturing
  • Strong Illustration skills

Product Management

  • Work closely with Licensees and Product Development Associates to produce fresh, compelling designs that meet the business needs
  • Follow best practices, implemented and shared across all areas
  • Understand technical aspects of construction of products and components regarding design and development.

LEGO Global creative support

  • Have strong knowledge of the Warner Bros Discover IP content
  • Work with Commercial, Franchise and Creative stakeholders to create inspirational product development concepts
  • Understand LEGO manufacturing capabilities and impact on product concept development
  • Take ownership of product approval timelines and timely feedback to LEGO
  • Consistently aiming at delivering better experience for LEGO fans, in line with Franchise guidelines

Skills and Qualifications… 

  • Design Degree, 2 years Technical College in a design discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in 3D product design/Toy Manufacturing
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present vision and ideas
  • Detail orientated
  • Team player and problem solver
  • Temperament to work under tight deadlines
  • Self-starting, tenacious attitude, with strong work ethics
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing product construction
  • Knowledge/awareness of competitive businesses
  • Advanced skills working with Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D software.
  • High level product illustration skills.
  • Additional computer skills, include InDesign, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Licensing business model experience is a plus
  • Availability to travel

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
