The Business Operations Analyst role within gTech Ads is part of the Go-To-Market organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Google's Ads business. This position involves working closely with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining project scope, analyzing opportunities, aligning stakeholders, and driving consensus to deliver business impact. The role also involves working cross-functionally to prioritize projects, align efforts, and enable decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to communicate findings effectively to executives through presentations and strategic discussions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, or business strategy
  • Experience with executive-level engagement
  • Experience using business intelligence and dashboards (SQL/PLX, Pulse, Connect Sales, App Scripts)
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives
  • Ability to work with senior cross-functional stakeholders
  • Passion for business strategy and operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to leverage data to drive insights

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and strategic thought partner.
  • Experience using business intelligence and dashboards (SQL/PLX, Pulse, Connect Sales, App Scripts).
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
  • Ability to work with senior cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment, and enable decision making.
  • Passionate about business strategy and operations, have good problem-solving skills, and can harness the power of data to drive insights.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support, media, and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs, and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our top customers to scalable support for customers worldwide.

The gTech Go-To-Market organization ensures gTech’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Work with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Define project scope, key focus areas, analysis needed to uncover opportunities, and drive stakeholder alignment and consensus to deliver business impact.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment, and enable decision making.
  • Communicate findings to executive leadership in the shape of executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
