The manager will also collaborate with communications and cross-functional team members to support the evolution of corporate messaging and enhance employee engagement. Key responsibilities include aligning the company's strategic direction, overseeing executive involvement in interviews, owning internal acquisition-related messaging, managing internal communications guidelines, planning and running Town Hall meetings, leading Crisis Communications strategy, and supporting customer and partner communications.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of corporate communications experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
  • Strong storytelling and simplify complex messaging.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Good to have:
  • B2B technology, SaaS, or financial services experience

Job Description

insightsoftware is seeking a dynamic communicator who thrives on driving impactful messages across internal and external platforms. As Corporate Communications Manager, reporting to the VP, Corporate Communications, this individual will play an integral role in the communications function. Specifically, this role will own M&A-related communications, crisis communications, executive communications, and internal communications, including monthly Town Hall meetings and internal announcements. In addition, this person will collaborate with communications and cross functional team members to support the evolution of corporate messaging.

What will you do?

  • Align the company's strategic direction across all internal channels to ensure consistent messaging and positive brand positioning.
  • Own internal communications, driving strategies and projects that ensure clarity and transparency across the organization, aiming to enhance overall employee engagement.
  • Partner with external communications lead to oversee executive involvement in interviews and briefings, and creating compelling presentations.
  • Own internal acquisition-related messaging and communications, including emails, Town Hall, and FAQ materials. Ensure alignment with external communications and strategies.
  • Manage, implement, and continuously refine internal communications guidelines to elevate standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Plan and run internal company Town Hall and People Manager meetings in collaboration with Executive Leadership and IT teams.
  • Partner with HR to foster employee engagement and clear communications.
  • Lead Crisis Communications strategy and preparedness, ensuring the company is positioned to respond effectively while protecting the brand and enabling scale.
  • Support customer and partner communications as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years corporate communications experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
  • Proven track record of leading the PR & communications strategy for a high-growth, B2B technology company.
  • Strong storyteller with the natural ability to simplify complex messaging.
  • Go-getter that is resourceful and proactive, with the ability to manage up.
  • Ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills and build relationships across the business, at all levels, and with professionals outside the business.
  • Ability to create content within established brand guidelines, learning the brand rules over time to become a true brand guidelines champion.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; highly organized and structured.
  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexible, tenacious, and optimistic – You do what it takes to get things done, and you can navigate through ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think ahead, engage proactively, and make great things happen.
  • B2B technology, SaaS, or financial services experience (a major plus).
