About the Role: Corporate Strategy Manager

Are you ready to tackle diverse, high-impact challenges in a role where no two days are the same? As a Corporate Strategy Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Strategy, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, helping shape the future Anime.

This role combines a dynamic set of responsibilities across impactful areas including (i) financial / strategic analysis for initiatives focused on growth and partnerships; (ii) project management, (iii) M&A integration; and (iv) executive presentations and communications. Based in Culver City, CA, with a hybrid work schedule, this role offers an exciting blend of responsibilities spanning:

  • Prepare structured analysis with effective data visualization, strategic recommendations, and concise communication to inform thoughtful business decisions
  • Drive projects in M&A integration, in close collaboration with our parent company’s Integration Management Office (IMO) and Crunchyroll’s cross-functional teams
  • Partner with Finance Transformation to manage and track OKRs and Initiatives and related project dependencies across various finance verticals, including Accounting, FP&A, Royalties, Procurement, and Data Insights
  • Deliver polished, executive presentations for business updates, board meetings, and ad hoc events

About the Team

This function works closely with senior leadership and across Crunchyroll’s global businesses, spanning SVOD / AVOD services, eCommerce, video games, theatrical releases, consumer packaged goods, publishing, and more. We routinely evaluate and execute high-profile opportunities across acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. Beyond inorganic projects, we also partner with colleagues in our operating business units to develop and implement organic growth initiatives in new products, services, and regions. Within the Finance team, we’re a partner for related verticals including Accounting, FP&A, Royalties, Data Insights, and Procurement.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
