Build large-scale data pipelines and data entities, essential to efficient decision making
Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to improve data accessibility
Participate in data quality assurance and validation processes
Assist in optimizing database performance and structure
Help document data architectures and processes
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Applied Science or a related field
Proficient in SQL and one of the programming languages
Familiar with Python data processing frameworks
Understanding of Data Architecture and Data lake/warehouse concepts
Familiar with data modeling
Familiar with Data ETL pipelines and orchestration
Interest in learning about how Data Engineering and Data Science can accelerate the development of the autonomy stack
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka)
Familiar with Scala
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker)
Understanding of machine learning concepts
Previous internship or project experience in data-related fields
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
