Design Engineer, Monetization

About the Role:

We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our Monetization team, where you'll play a critical role in building scalable, high-performance experiences that drive revenue growth. You’ll bridge the gap between design and engineering, crafting innovative solutions for ad formats, subscription models, in-app purchases, and other monetization strategies while ensuring a seamless user experience.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop engaging monetization features.

• Build and prototype interactive user experiences that balance monetization goals with user delight.

• Optimize performance, accessibility, and usability across web and mobile platforms.

• Implement A/B testing frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of monetization strategies.

• Work with data analysts to integrate tracking mechanisms that provide insights into user behavior and revenue impact.

• Maintain and improve design systems to ensure consistency across monetization components.

• Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ad tech and monetization.

Who you are

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks. React strongly preferred.

• Strong experience with UI/UX design principles and design tools like Figma or Sketch.

• Familiarity with A/B testing platforms, analytics tools, and performance optimization.

• Experience integrating third-party ad networks, payment APIs, or subscription platforms is a plus.

• Ability to translate business goals into elegant, scalable design-engineering solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Passion for data-driven design and iterating on solutions based on performance metrics.
