  • 5+ years managing IT teams in India for a US-based SaaS company.
  • Experience with enterprise systems like Okta, Jamf, Intune, Slack, Jira.
Good to have:
  • Experience supporting IT and application strategy in a SaaS or B2B software environment.

About the Role 

Highspot is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Director of IT & Enterprise Applications to lead our technology operations in India. This role reports directly to the Head of Global IT & Enterprise Applications based in the US, and will be responsible for overseeing local IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and India workplace strategy (facilities) members. You will develop and manage a high-performing team in India, while ensuring full alignment with global strategy, policies, and cross-functional priorities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of building IT functions in global SaaS companies and understand the nuances of supporting a hybrid workforce in a U.S. headquartered environment. This leader must be confident and principled in representing IT’s global standards locally, balancing collaboration with regional stakeholders while standing firm when necessary to protect the integrity of global processes and team priorities.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all India-based IT operations, including help desk, systems administration, enterprise applications, and local infrastructure, while ensuring alignment with US headquarters standards and close collaboration with US-based leadership.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable, and high-availability systems that support local operations and integrate with global processes and systems.
  • Translate global IT strategy into regional execution plans, ensuring consistency and alignment with company-wide standards
  • Lead local IT infrastructure changes from project management to technical execution
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team spanning IT support, enterprise apps, and workplace strategy team.
  • Set clear goals, foster accountability, and create career growth opportunities across disciplines.
  • Drive retention and engagement through leadership that inspires operational excellence.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of Highspot’s global workforce strategy ensuring we are hiring people in the best Geos to maximize effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary IT point of contact for India-based operations, building strong relationships with global teams across Finance, HR, Security, and Engineering.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, acting as a local advocate and ensuring regional needs are met.
  • Direct Manager of India Office Manager(s) assisting with complex and or large scale projects and ensuring service excellence and consistency in day to day operations.
  • Partner with Global Workplace Strategy and Facilities leader and team(s) to align on standards and execution.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, key partners in IT, People, Legal, Finance, and Security to provide oversight on key workplace initiatives and help clear any blockers.
  • Ensure a productive, secure, and high-quality in-office experience for employees.


Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in IT with demonstrated leadership across infrastructure, enterprise systems, and facilities.
  • Experience managing enterprise applications teams, including Workday and NetSuite Analysts and Developers, to meet the evolving needs of a global SaaS organization.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and scaling IT teams in India for a US based SaaS company
  • Proven success in aligning India-based technology operations with the needs of a U.S. headquartered company.
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise systems (Okta, Jamf, Intune, Slack, Jira)
  • Experience configuring and managing IT infrastructure including Firewall, Access Points, Switches and A/V equipment
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning with global IT strategy while effectively guiding and influencing local business leaders.
  • Experience directly managing employees who also have a dotted-line reporting relationship to U.S. based functional leaders.
  • Experience supporting IT and application strategy in a SaaS or B2B software environment preferred.
