International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Exercise Planner to design, coordinate, and execute training exercises. This role involves assessing training needs, developing comprehensive exercise plans, and integrating various elements to achieve realistic and effective training outcomes, ensuring units are prepared for real-world missions. The position is contingent on contract award.
Must have:
  • Develops exercise options based on unit availability, training requirements, and exercise objectives.
  • Develop and brief exercise options to senior client leaders.
  • Works with outside organizations and subordinate units during mission analysis.
  • Finalizes exercise planning by providing concept of operations and writing exercise orders.
  • Collect data and develop after action reports and builds after action briefings for senior client leaders.
  • Utilizes existing resources to develop exercises of Joint and Combined training events.
  • Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.
  • Ten or more (10+) years' experience in Logistics.
  • Master's Degree in relevant field of study required.
  • Identified as recognized as industry leader for given area of expertise.
  • Must have or be able to obtain required clearances.

Job Description

International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for an individual who is an experienced Exercise Planner to design, coordinate, and execute training exercises that enhance readiness and operational capabilities, ensuring that units are effectively prepared for real-world missions. This position involves assessing training needs, developing comprehensive exercise plans, and facilitating the integration of various elements to achieve realistic and effective training outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops exercise options based on unit availability, training requirements, and exercise objectives.
  • Develop and brief exercise options to senior client leaders.
  • Works with outside organizations and subordinate units during mission analysis.
  • Finalizes exercise planning by providing concept of operations and writing exercise orders.
  • Collect data and develop after action reports and builds after action briefings for senior client leaders.
  • Utilizes existing resources to develop exercises of Joint and Combined training events.
  • Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • Ten or more (10+) years' experience in Logistics.

Education Required:

  • Master's Degree in relevant field of study required.
  • Identified as recognized as industry leader for given area of expertise.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior or office work environment.
  • Work involves sitting, standing, climbing stairs for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Other Special Qualifications:

  • Must have or be able to obtain required clearances.
