We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial team in India. You will report directly to the India Head with a functional reporting to the group CFO.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Prepare financial reports for statutory / tax / stock exchange or any other regulatory audits, reviews.
- Create and meticulously maintain the financial statements / records, revise and update on a timely manner to manage the accruals and operating budgets.
- Reconcile the bank statements and purchase orders, fixing the discrepancies, if any.
- Handle payable / receivables and create short-term cash projections.
- Providing assistance with employee payroll administration.
- Ensure record-keeping policies as per regulatory timelines.
- Review existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the vendors, Stock Exchange finance teams, Clearing Corporation etc.
- Dual reporting for this position, India Head and Group global CFO.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU:
- Chartered Accountant professional qualification
- 7+ years’ experience working as a finance associate.
- Extensive knowledge of the India accounting standards, IFRS and best practices in the fiscal procedures and applicable tax codes.
- Good exposure to managing direct and indirect taxation and the expertise results in accurate financial reporting and efficient account management.
- Understanding of the RBI compliance, FEMA regulations, cross border transactions, transfer pricing regulations, conducting statutory audits and Stock
- Exchange related compliances.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Superb organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in integrated financial management software would be an added advantage.
- Need to appear for NISM – VII series.
