Job Description

Intel Dalian Memory Technology and Manufacturing (DMTM) is a high-volume manufacturing memory fab in Intel China working on leading-edge 3D NAND product. Intel and SK Hynix have an agreement for SK Hynix to acquire Intel's NAND memory and storage business. Intel will continue to manufacture NAND wafers at the Dalian memory manufacturing until the final closing expected to occur in March 2025. Intel DMTM will continue to build on the success of our NAND technology at a greater scale, play a larger role in supporting our customers. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for creating and analyzing financial information and business trends to develop reconciliations, financial reports, variance explanations, risk assessments and solutions. They will also evaluate accounting and reporting, recommend solutions to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting, and develop annual budgets and forecasts for different business units and departments, as well as for the organization. They will identify, perform and drive process improvement opportunities in the month end close processes and support management reporting related to operations performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. They will prepare and maintain operational budget, forecasts, plan and reports and develop operational workflows that bridge technical and business needs. They will make recommendations around financial process improvements by maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and recommend automation and more efficient methods of creation and delivery. They will also evaluate capital expenditure requirements and recommend suitable financing options. They will develop periodic management reports for performance measurement of different business units and the organization. They will provide decision support to leadership by monitoring revenue and costs against the budgets and forecasts and explaining variance through root cause analysis. They will support decision making by providing ad hoc financial and key performance indicator analyzes that influence leadership decision making.
Must have:
  • Minimum of 1 year of progressive finance or accounting experience
  • Relevant knowledge of finance or accounting or data analysis
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Pay attention to details
  • Proficiency in ERP software or coding and Microsoft Excel

  • Creates and analyzes financial information and business trends to develop reconciliations, financial reports, variance explanations, risk assessments and solutions.
  • Evaluates accounting and reporting and recommends solutions to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting.
  • Develops annual budgets and forecasts for different business units and departments, as well as for the organization to influence the decision-making process and direction of varying levels of business leaders including project leads, managers, operational business groups and factories.

This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK. This transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage, and you will be joining a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK group. We will keep you informed updates and steps related to this transaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years of progressive finance or accounting experience. Internship is acceptable.
  • Relevant knowledge of finance or accounting or data analysis .
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
