Job Description

The GHRP Consultant will utilize agile methodologies to implement solutions in Workday HCM modules. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, advising on best practices, implementing system enhancements, and troubleshooting business processes. The consultant will need to understand client needs, propose solutions, and assist in testing configurations while also providing knowledge transfer. The role also involves driving roadmap execution and innovating new approaches for efficient deployment. The consultant must be an expert in at least one Workday HCM module and manage multiple projects concurrently, contributing to knowledge management and sharing best practices.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience with HR knowledge and technical proficiency
  • Developed practical knowledge of HRIS principles and architectural techniques
  • Base level consulting skills like presenting and explaining functionality
  • Experience implementing business solutions under deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to influence at all levels and drive company-wide changes
  • Ability to lead global projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Builds highly-effective relationship management skills
  • Experience working in multiple countries with cross-cultural exposure
  • Ability to share ideas, orally and in writing.
  • Proven expertise in Workday (Core HR, etc.)

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the agile methodology and processes to implement solutions successfully
  • Design, configure, test, and implement client business requirements in Workday HCM module(s)
  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
  • Assess actual client needs and propose recommendations and/or alternative solutions to meet client goals
  • Advise clients on best practices, recognize, and recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements
  • Assist clients in testing Workday configuration, provide knowledge transfer to clients and develop documentation as applicable
  • Drive execution of roadmap items through initiative management process
  • Troubleshoot business processes, calculated fields, business logic, file loads and configuration
  • Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches to deploy solutions efficiently and effectively
  • Become an expert in at least one module of the Workday HCM product suite
  • Consult, execute, and prioritize conflicting demands on small to medium deliverables/projects across multiple, concurrent clients without supervision
  • Perform research on problems, identify the true cause, and present/implement corrective measures to the client. Seek opinions and feedback on alternative solutions from team members to solve client needs
  • Contribute to knowledge management repository through formal and informal avenues, such as sharing documented lessons learned, Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitation of knowledge sharing sessions, regularly posting best practices and knowledge sharing information to team(s)

Requirement

  • Experienced HRIS professional, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive growth, demonstrating HR knowledge, self-management, and technical proficiency
  • Track record within the HRIS environment having developed a practical and deep knowledge of HRIS principles, designs and architectural techniques, not limited to one business or technological domain
  • Base level consulting skills e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to guide stakeholders, etc.
  • Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under competing deadlines and priorities
  • Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
  • Ability to influence at all levels of organization and experience driving and implementing company-wide changes
  • Ability to lead global projects end to end with multiple stakeholders
  • Builds highly-effective relationship management and partnership building skills
  • Experience of working in working in more than one country and have good cross-cultural exposure
  • Ability to share and communicate ideas, both orally and in writing to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources in clear, concise language
  • Proven expertise in Workday (ideally, including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Time and Absence, Talent Management, Performance Management, Recruiting, Learning, PRISM, Reporting, Calculated Fields and integrations)
  • Proven experience demonstrating initiative and curiosity to build skills in other areas both within and outside of Workday
