Job Description & Summary

Creating business intelligence from data requires an understanding of the business, the data, and the technology used to store and analyse that data. Using our Rapid Business Intelligence Solutions, data visualisation and integrated reporting dashboards, we can deliver agile, highly interactive reporting and analytics that help our clients to more effectively run their business and understand what business questions can be answered and how to unlock the answers.

Responsibilities:  

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and
dashboards that meet business requirements.
Develop and execute project plans, overseeing the
development of project deliverables, ensuring quality
control and providing managerial support to teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data
needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Optimize data models for performance and efficiency in
reporting.
Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including
SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud services.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting
platforms.
Create and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions
and processes.
Provide training and support to end-users on using Power
BI tools effectively.
Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best
practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar
role.
Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI
Service.
Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power
Query.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL
processes.
Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work
collaboratively.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Azure services or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik etc.) is a
plus.
Understanding of data visualization best practices.
5+ years of production model deployment experience for
reporting solutions
Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership,
willingness to learn, and desire to succeed
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills (both verbal
and written)
