Job Description

The Insights and Analytics Manager role within the Google Procurement Organization in Bengaluru, India, focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining self-service reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms tailored for procurement stakeholders. This involves collecting, aggregating, and analyzing procurement-related data to generate actionable insights and visualizations. You will also identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to procurement operations, create interactive dashboards and reports, and support ongoing manual reporting activities. The role requires expertise in data visualization, reporting tools, SQL, and procurement processes.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
7 years of experience in management consulting or project management
Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing process improvements
Experience designing, implementing, and testing processes and controls for ERP transformation projects

Good to have:

Advanced degree or certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics
Experience with advanced data visualization techniques
Experience training procurement teams on self-service reporting tools
Experience with SQL or other query languages
Experience in data governance principles
Knowledge of procurement processes and systems

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in management consulting, or project management from a public accounting firm or multi-national company.
Experience leading multiple, cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements; including experience designing, implementing, and testing processes and controls for enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation projects.

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree or certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related field.
Experience with advanced data visualization techniques and storytelling with data to convey insights effectively to stakeholders.
Experienced in training and supporting procurement teams on the effective use of self-service reporting tools.
Experience in SQL or other query languages for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Experience in data governance principles and practices, with experience in ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in reporting activities.
Knowledge of procurement processes and systems, with experience in designing and developing self-service reporting tools tailored for procurement stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain self-service reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms tailored for procurement stakeholders.
Collect, aggregate, and analyze procurement-related data from various sources to create actionable insights and meaningful visualizations.
Conduct analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to procurement operations.
Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using data visualization and reporting tools and software.
Support ongoing manual reporting activities by generating ad-hoc reports, and analysis as needed for specific operational requirements and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of manually prepared reports.
