Must have:
  • Internship experience in FMCG, data analysis or market research.
  • Excellent oral and written proficiency in English and Dutch.
  • Degree in Business Economics/Administration or related field.
  • Genuine interest in marketing and products retailed.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Power BI is considered a plus.

Join our dynamic Customer Success Team in Amstelveen as Junior Analytical Consultant and embark on a journey of analyzing market trends in the FMCG sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Thorough Data Analysis: Delve deep into data sourced from supermarkets, drugstores, perfumery stores, petrol stations, and liquor stores to analyse sales trends within specific FMCG categories.
  • Insight Generation: Analyse shifts in market shares within various FMCG categories and explain the factors driving these changes. Uncover valuable insights by addressing pivotal questions such as why certain categories experience fluctuations in sales. Whether it's due to changes in the competitive landscape, adjustments in pricing strategies, or variations in promotional tactics, your analyses will provide clarity. Effectively communicate these insights to our clients through compelling presentations.
  • Identify opportunities: Work closely with colleagues to identify and seize commercial opportunities for NIQ.
  • Account Management: Manage relationships with key accounts, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring client satisfaction. Proactively identify opportunities for growth and address any concerns or issues raised by clients.

Requirements:

  • Internship experience in FMCG, data analysis or market research.
  • Excellent oral and written proficiency in English and Dutch
  • Degree in Business Economics/Administration, Marketing Management/Analytics/Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in marketing and products retailed in supermarkets and drug stores.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI is considered a plus.
