Your mission

  • Full ownership of the ININ label, including strategic, operational and financial leadership.
  • Lead, inspire, and grow a cross-functional, multinational team covering IP/game acquisition, development, marketing, sales (direct-to-consumer, digital and retail) and product lifecycle management—with a strong focus on ensuring successful new releases across all platforms and markets.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to grow the label’s portfolio and market presence, while continuously identifying ways to leverage and expand the value of the existing catalogue.
  • Oversee and coordinate global release planning across digital and physical channels, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards and commercial impact.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key partners, licensors, and stakeholders, always with the player and community experience in mind.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with company goals—including measures that reflect customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Oversee new releases and back-catalogue monetization initiatives across global markets.
  • Develop compelling business cases for new projects, partnerships, and publishing opportunities.
  • Work closely with group-level service functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Fulfillment & Logistics) to ensure efficient operations.
  • Build and safeguard the ININ brand identity, positioning and value proposition.
  • Evaluate and manage risks related to publishing, licensing, and commercial agreements.
  • Identify trends and opportunities in the retro and indie games market to drive innovation and differentiation- supporting both commercial goals and community growth.


Your profile

  • Degree in business administration or a comparable field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role with full budget and personnel responsibility.
  • Proven expertise in international multi-platform publishing and release planning.
  • Deep knowledge of go-to-market strategies across retail, digital, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels.
  • Experienced in managing development projects and collaborating with licensors and partners across cultures—especially with Japanese companies.
  • A hands-on, creative thinker and clever problem-solver who seizes opportunities and makes things happen.
  • Passion for retro and classic video games and their cultural relevance.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English and German; Japanese is a plus.
