Line Producer

As a Line Producer, you'll be in the epicenter of everything esports production-related. You'll work with the production team, broadcast team, and all of our outside vendors to put on great shows in the studio and on the road. You'll be at the heart of a production, hiring the crew, creating, managing, and allocating the budget, and making sure the production is done safely, creatively, on budget, and on time. You will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, budget tracking, and financial management of our EMEA esports portfolios. You will be an integral part of the production team, partnering with multiple producers to ensure we allocate resources effectively, make financially informed decisions, and deliver our shows on quality and budget. You will partner with global and local finance teams to ensure we understand how to track costs efficiently across multiple business units. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Esports Production Management.

Travel Requirement up to 20%

Working schedule may require weekend and late hours per production needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the central information hub, coordinating between internal and external stakeholders, supporting Event Producers, and managing Production Managers and partners.
• Own the forecasting and budgeting process for all productions, ensuring accurate tracking and risk mitigation using historical data.
• Lead vendor sourcing and selection, negotiating venues, services, and gear rates while managing staffing and production vendors through all production stages.
• Partner with finance teams to establish efficient workflows and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Facilitate communication and serve as an escalation point between internal stakeholders, remote broadcast teams, and production partners.
• Manage the studio ecosystem, optimizing functionality, spending, and resource allocation across all teams.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of live studio broadcasts, ensuring seamless execution from pre-production through live transmission.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in production, including live broadcast studio operations.
• Proven track record in managing live broadcast productions in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Experience developing and managing multiple production budgets, including tracking expenses and monitoring costs.
• Extensive experience negotiating, hiring, and managing both union and non-union crew and personnel.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations during live broadcasts.
• Hands-on experience as a line producer or senior production manager in a studio setting.
• Solid financial management skills in a production environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in production.
• Experience in production accounting or having been a production accountant.
• Large event experience is an advantage.
• German language skills are a plus.
• Experience with multi-camera setups and real-time graphics integration.
• Knowledge of live broadcast technologies, including cameras, lighting, and sound.
• Experience working with corporate finance, accounting, legal, and insurance units.
