The Opportunity:
Joining PwC as a Managed Services Manager in Accounting you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. with the purpose of our clients with customized solutions and accounting advice based on their niche and business needs.

Accounting responsibilities:
Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Director in charge.
Be involved in the financial management of clients.
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
Assist in the management and delivering of large projects.
Train, coach, and supervise staff.
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand.
Managed Services responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of managed services related to accounting and finance.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
Develop and implement best practices for service delivery to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage and supervise accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding accounting services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Conduct regular meetings with clients to review service performance and address any issues or concerns.
What we need from you:
University degree.
5+ years of relevant work experience of accounting, tax compliance and managed services.
ACCA - qualified or in progress is an advantage.
Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in local GAAP; IFRS is an advantage.
Very good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards and tax legislation.
Prior supervisory experience.
Excellent project management and presentation skills.
Strong English and German language skills.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, accounting software -Dynamics 365 BC is a plus).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly adaptable and open to change.
