Project description

We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Specialist - Group reporting and accounting in our local accounting team in Luxoft Belgrade

Responsibilities

Preparing monthly closing by making reconciliations of the data and verifying reconciliation accounts in accordance with Group instructions and US-GAAP regulation

Respecting Internal Regulations and company's procedures.

Monitoring variances ,recommending actions to management.

Independently reconcile fixed assets, calculate depreciation and reconcile the book of fixed assets with financial accounting

Review and approval

PO ,vendors , contracts

Ensure SOX 404 compliance for all activities

Cooperation with centralized functions such as Treasury, Consolidation

Communicate with tax authorities and external auditors

Support and mentor other less experienced accounting team members

Perform other tasks as ordered by the immediate supervisor in connection with the above

Skills

Must have

College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience (work in international environment would be treated as an advantage)

Preferred US GAAP and SOX knowledge

Independent and proactive individual

Strong business insightfulness and understanding

Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks

Excellent analytical skills

Nice to have

Experience in ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
