The Opportunity

PwC is a leading global practice in Tax, Assurance and Advisory, offering a wide range of professional services to major clients worldwide, and therefore opportunities for newcomers to our organization.

Our Export Delivery Center (EDC), based in Bucharest, provides Accounting and Tax Compliance support services to clients across the global PwC Network.

We are currently looking for an experienced Associate to join the fast-growing Export Delivery Center team.

In this role you would be working to support PwC firms in Western Europe with their Accounts Payable services.

What you will be doing

• Recording accounts payable invoices and preparing payment files for the clients.

• Manually entering new supplier master data.

• Booking supplier invoices.

• Generating an open item list.

• Preparing and booking payment orders (including providing the payment details).

• Providing the open item list and all statements of account in digital form for mandatory retention for a period of at least 10 years.

• Updated supplier master data.

What we need from you

• Experience in a similar or an accounting position – 1 year minimum.

• Fluent both in English & German language - spoken and written (min B2).

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Sense of detail and precision required.

• Good analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Enthusiastic and willing to learn.

• Willingness to be adaptive both in technologies used and tasks undertaken.

• A team player with strong intellectual curiosity.

• Attention to details.
