Job Description:
Production of the monthly management reports, including preparation, reviewing and approving of manual journals in accordance with Global Function MJE policy.
· Assisting UK counterparts (FD, FC and FD) on variance analysis, Audit (Stat, interim and group)
· Manage RTR operations, track over team efficiency and managing RTR service delivery.
· Oversee day to day operation, monitoring of transactions, month end closing & reporting will be key part of the role
· Preparation and ownership of management information for key stakeholders and senior management on monthly operating expenses and balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and prepayments.
· Develop & maintain effective partnership with stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns, and discuss them with the team / reporting manager as required.
· Manage process deliverables as per agreed SLAs along with ensuring delivery of quality results to key stakeholders including dashboards, KPI reports and other key process metrics.
· To undertake weekly reviews of all deliverables for the team out of Bengaluru, manage expectations of stakeholders and meet agreed timelines and service level agreements.
· Responsible for cost allocations, accruals and reviewing variances to latest forecast to drive accuracy of accounting and reporting.
· Follows Standard Operating Procedures and maintains process documentations whilst ensuring audit compliance.
· Executes controls for all the processes under the remit of FSB team, support and influence control compliance with respect to OTC and PTP processes supported by 3rd party service provider.
· Engages with stakeholders to understand the requirements, set expectations, address concerns and discuss them with their manager.
· Initiates and assists in continuous process and system improvements.
· Escalates issues without delay to the relevant stakeholders and suggest action plans to get these resolved.
· Provides accurate, timely information to support external, internal and JSOX audits.
· Responsible for maintaining updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Deliver timely and error-free reports, KPI dashboards, non-compliance reports and other key process metrics to the stakeholders.
· Be a part of continuous improvement initiatives (CII) by identifying process lapses, offering best possible solution and lead Automation Projects (as & when identified).
· Establish and lead compliance with governance requirements around task delivery.
· Support larger team in delivery of ad-hoc requests including Audits
Chartered Accountant with 7-9 years of experience in GL RTR, reporting and well versed with shared service centre working environment.
· In-depth knowledge of accounting controls & reporting processes is necessary.
· Should have people management skills and ability to optimise talent
· Management Reporting and Internal Controls
· Knowledge of IFRS and Accounting standards would be preferred
· Should be a quick learner and out-of-box thinker.
· Strong understanding of financial metrics and business structure.
· Should have excellent communication skills and can interact with senior stake holders
· Should be agile and highly responsive.
· Receptive to escalations and suggestions on areas of improvements
· Should be able to multitask between deliverables during month close and day to day activities.
