Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Specialist for our Order Management team to serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role is crucial in supporting the team’s operational needs, solving complex problems, and driving improvements across processes and documentation. The Specialist will be responsible for removing roadblocks, acting as the first point of escalation for stakeholders, and supporting the team’s decision-making through strong data analytics and automation skills. This position will also collaborate closely with management to execute special projects, process standardization, and foster team engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Order Management team, providing guidance on operational matters and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.
  • Analyze data to drive decision-making, leveraging automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support the team by identifying and eliminating roadblocks to achieve operational goals.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects aimed at improving processes, documentation, and standardization within the team and organization.
  • Collaborate with the manager to drive initiatives that enhance team engagement, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze order management performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement. Drives the analysis conducted for backlog management.
  •  Monitors key metrics, creates relevant reporting metrics, and reviews information for continuous improvement.
  •  Contributes to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear, impactful PowerPoint presentations to effectively convey data insights, process improvements, and project updates to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Education & Experience Recommended
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Order Management, Supply Chain, or a similar role with a focus on operational and process efficiency.
  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and drive automation and process improvements (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau, RPA tools).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in creating and delivering clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations to various levels of stakeholders and leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution and process optimization.
  • Deep understanding of order-to-cash and supply chain processes, with a strong focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage escalations, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of leading or supporting multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Certifications
Experience with automation tools or technologies that support order management.

Proven track record of leading or participating in cross-functional projects.

Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes and related systems
