Summary

This is a fixed-term contract position as a Publicist in Madrid, Spain, starting January 2024 and ending in October 2024. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with media outlets, ensuring timely distribution of publicity materials for Warner Bros. releases, organizing publicity activities for events (junkets, premieres, festivals), managing logistics (accommodation, transport, security), organizing press screenings, nominating journalists for events, negotiating press coverage, coordinating material localization, maintaining a journalist database, providing information for maximizing media exposure, preparing press clippings and reports, sending updates to supervisors, sending invitations to screenings, evaluating journalist feedback, and following online promotional activities.

Your New Role…

Please note – this is a fixed-term contract, with a target start date in January 2024, ending in October 2024

Supports PR activity with the following:

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with media outlets and journalists. 
  • Ensures that all the publicity materials that refers to Warner Bros releases is provided to the appropriate journalists at the right time.
  • Organizes publicity activities for Tour Junkets, Premieres and Festivals taking place in Spain including logistics for talent accommodation - transportation - security - free time – etc.
  • Organizes press screenings for long leads and fast breaking media.
  • Nominates outlets and journalists for participation to junkets and set visits abroad and negotiates press coverage from editors

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Coordinates the localization and duplication of publicity materials  
  • Maintains and updates a database with contact details of outlets and journalists. 
  • Holds daily relationships with media outlets and journalists providing the necessary information so that WB product can benefit from the maximum media exposure possible.
  • Prepares press clippings and reporting reviews related to WB movies and corporate information.
  • Sends updates and publicity reports to London and Burbank supervisors. 
  • Sends invitations/ VIP mailing to journalists for press screenings and ensures that the appropriate journalists confirm their presence.
  • Evaluates feedback from journalists following screenings or participation to junkets and relates the responses to management.
  • Follows other internet promotional activities./on line junkets and exclusive on line materials

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Publicity experience
  • Knowledge of the Spanish publicity landscape
  • High Level of English
