Scopely is seeking a Release Engineer for their Monopoly GO! game team. You'll manage GitHub branches, release dashboards, and ensure technical quality of releases. Strong C# and GitHub experience, monitoring tools (DataDog, Kibana, etc.), and production deployments are essential.

Scopely is looking for a Release Engineer to  join our Monopoly GO! game team remotely on the East Coast of the US!

Monopoly Go! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become one of Scopely’s largest games with more than 10M DAU.  The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

What You Will Do 

  • Take full ownership of GitHub branch management and improvements (e.g., GHA)
  • Work with feature engineers to assess changes and risks in PRs for release branches
  • Own release dashboards and monitoring, ensuring the technical quality of each release
  • Maintain common assembly unit tests and implement meaningful code coverage
  • Approve server and client rollouts based on technical metrics/KPIs
  • Define and implement tooling, pipeline, and CI/CD improvements for safe and automated rollouts
  • Collaborate QA to resolve issues and assist with triage and fixes
  • Work closely with QA to identify and address potential gaps in test cases

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive C# and Github experience
  • Experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, Kibana, New Relic, Bugsnag, etc.)
  • Seasoned software engineer with solid programming fundamentals
  • Familiarity with production deployments, software build & release pipelines, CI/CD pipelines and with Load testing, monitoring & profiling.
  • A love of games!

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $145,000 - 220,000, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
