Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
  • Experience with ESG reporting, accounting and financial reporting, and internal controls or risk management, in a public accounting or multi-national company setting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with ESG reporting standards and frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.
  • Experience with ESG-related risk assessments and broad knowledge and experience around social, sustainability and governance issues.
  • Understanding of ESG issues and willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest ESG guidelines and developments.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, gather different points of view and create recommended approaches.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills, combined with excellent business judgment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of an overall regulatory Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including CSRD.
  • Evaluate and determine the applicability of new reporting regulations globally and oversee ESG materiality assessments that incorporate existing enterprise-wide risk assessments processes.
  • Develop and operationalize standardized policies and processes with regard to ESG reporting (e.g., materiality assessments, disclosure controls and procedures, estimation approaches).
  • Coordinate mandatory ESG-related reporting, in partnership with Finance, IR, Legal, Policy, Finance, Statutory, and ESG subject matter experts across the globe to ensure we remain well coordinated and meet all of our regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Work with the ESG Audit and Controls team in building or optimizing data and process flows, ultimately implementing SOX-like controls across the end-to-end business processes from data sources through disclosures.
